I love to paint and I love to write. This site is all about the Words and the Art that has brought joy to my life. I am lucky to have had some small success here too.

Words

I write poetry and short stories. I am lucky to have had a fair bit of it published – in books, magazines and anthologies. I have work featured in a range of events and exhibitions too. I have given public readings and also book signings. I was commissioned to write two children’s books for SugarLilly. These are tales for 3-10 year olds – beautifully illustrated and with a message of kindness and helpfulness. Several schools have adopted these books as library books – to help children to express their emotions. A school in Hiroshama, Japan holds the books because of the message of peace within the books.

Art

I love Art – all it’s different forms and I am always developing my painting and drawing. I have had my artwork feature in a range of exhibitions and events and sold some of my work to both private customers and companies. I very much enjoy painting in different styles, and have enjoyed trying out glass art more recently.
