I am a bear and made for love
I’ll take the smooth and the rough
All cuddles are good but especially if soft
I should never have been put in the loft
But then they found me and brought me down
I said goodbye to the train and the clown
They washed me and then they brushed me too
And gave me a red ribbon bright and new
And now I wait all wrapped up tight
Peering through the paper at the light
Gazing up at the Christmas Tree
I’ve waited such a long time you see
And then suddenly I am lifted high
The wrapper gone and I see his eye
Like his father before him – I am his
He squeezes me hard and it is bliss
